In 1998, K3 started as a group. After their first song that became famous, the band was taken under the wings of Studio 100. In 2009 Katleen Aarts left the band and Josje Huisman came on stage. In 2015 on the 6th of november the band was stopped by Karen, Christel and Josje. But Studio 100 organised new auditions on the Belgian Television to have 3 new members: Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn, Klaasje Meyijer.
In 2021, Klaasje left the group in 2021
So they hold a selection show on the national television to search for a new member. The program lead to a lot of controverse because for the first time their where male and X conditates. In the finals Julia was the favorite and so a new blond singer joint the team. The theme song for this show was 'Waterval'.
